The Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research is the first simulation center in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and will serve as a Middle East hub to attract the collaboration of the elite health and educational institutions around the world. The Center provides the highest quality of Simulation Based Medical Education by bringing the latest technology and best practiced educational approaches to the Middle East / North African region. Simulation is an important method in bridging theory and practice within medical education. Simulation-based education(SBE) provides a structured, learner-centered environment in which beginners and advanced health care providers can build on their knowledge and practice skill through multiple repetitions, to help further improve patient safety.

The Royal College of Medical Services was established through the guidance, active and permanent support by Major General Professor Khalid bin Ali bin Abdullah al Khalifa, Director of the Royal Medical Services. A well-constructed College building containing classrooms, simulation laboratory for nursing, computer lab and a library where electronic services are available in addition to books and scientific references, in addition to all the facilities that comply with the requirements of the Higher Education Council. Furnished and equipped with all training tools, materials, equipment that provides the appropriate study environment. In line with the constant pursuit of development and upgrading of training, the Faculty of the Royal Medical Services College is working to provide academic programs and training courses that provide academically qualified cadres in the nursing, in addition to training courses for medics, first aiders and many other related courses.
